Summer Breeze, wind in my hair.

I look past, the ashes and see you standing there.

I'd walk across the ashes but I know you'd run away.

I don't understand why you need to flee.

But the fire burns and consumes its path.

Can you feel the Heat?

I know you feel its wrath.

Now that you're gone I yearn to see your face

But dust and ashes are in its place.

Longing for a friendship, missing what what was there.

But all I see is ashes, I see it every where.

Fire burns and consumes its path.

I know you feel its wrath.

Footprints ahead of me.

Should I go or should I stay?

I hear them calling me.

saying they know the way.

I taste the ashes

I feel it on my skin.

A reminder of the fire that could soon begin

a light within my mind.

searching through the ashes

Is it me that you hear

or is the flames that you fear

Begin Again

I'll walk a new path still the queen I have always been.  I'll paint my colors brighter my pieces shading a new pattern and I'll stand stronger than I have ever been.

Be A Unicorn By TheRavisher

Now the dam has broken, with the first drop began a current of pain.
Flashes of our time together in my mind.
The pain deep inside because I know that nothing from now on will ever be the same.
I will never look and see you there.

 For the first time a unicorn cried and my tears carved a river of pain.  In time the waters calmed and I walked to the edge of the water.  Looking down I seen that I was still me.  A unicorn, a rare, imperfect, magic that even he could not break.

Emerge

There will come a time for each of us when things we hold dear fall away.

Love we thought was real isn't, friendships we cherished do not value us in return. 

Darkness will steal our light and for a while we will ly silent, scared to reach out into that darkness.

Attempt to even feel what may be near you for the fear of how it can hurt you.

Rage against the darkness, do not accept anything other than your own will.

Know your heart was true, and you can never control the actions of others.

Do not let the wrongs done to you change who you are, your greatest victories at times can just be standing inside chaos with grace.

Emerge as the better half make your pain more than pain.

Accept it as a feeling; very proof that your alive.

Adjust your crown and meet no ones expectations but your own.

After I hear your voice something inside me changes.  Slow easy build from deep, pushing and pulling me to you all at the same time.

Contemplation followed by action in this fantasy in my mind.  Bringing us together in a way we have never been before. 

     When I am alone, I remember how the tone of it washes over me making me ache for your touch.
